About SASS
The name SASS in the Wolof local language means efficient and effective competence. The SASS Franchise in The Gambia is owned and operated by Adam Touray-Bah a Gambian Business Entrepreneur. Mrs. Bah entered the Hair & Beauty Industry in October 2004 when she opened her first Hair & Beauty Salon in the UK (Exclusive Cosmetics & Hair Salon) at 45 Welling High Street, DA16 1TU. Her Salon was the first Black Salon in the High Streets of Welling. The SASS franchise now boasts of a Health & Beauty shop as well as a Cosmetology & Skills Academy. SASS has future plans to expand outside of the Greater Banjul Area where it currently operates
SASS COSMETOLOGY & SKILSS ACADEMY
This specialized school was established in 2014 and issued a Business Registration Certificate with license N0. 811037737 to train young Gambians in diversecosmetology skills.Our mission is to promote excellence through the use of diversified teaching curricula, alongside practical and proactive hands-on learning approaches. SASS is NAQAA Certified.
SASS graduated 18 students in 2014/2015; and another 18 in 2015/2016. SASS expects to graduate 26 students in 2016/2017 and up to 50 by end of 2019.
